home sick from school today. Family policy is that kids who stay home sick can't play video games until the school day officially ends at 2:00. (This is to make playing hooky a pointless venture. I even give them work to do if it seems like they were well enough to go to school after all.)

While I was sleeping this morning (I'm under the weather too) he turned all the clocks ahead by almost an hour. Then at "2:00pm" he announced it was time for him to have video games. The little scamp _almost_ got away with it, even having me thinking something was wrong with my computer clock because it was so far behind all the other clocks in the house. But he 'fessed up when I saw how "late" it was and his brother still wasn't home. If I had actually called the school to see where he was and why the bus was running so late, well, let's just say it wouldn't have gone so well for a certain young man. LOL

2. That's funny!
I can picture the twinkle in his eyes as he thought up and carried out that one. What an imp!
I hope you two are feeling better!

6. It's a horrible sneezing, coughing, sinus pressure so bad your teeth and ears ache thing. And
yeah, I should. But I think I will be sleeping in the recliner tonight, and not the bed.

7. Ugh, sorry you're feeling so yucky. This natural remedy sounds interesting-
I bought some organic, unpasteurized apple cider vinegar for my son's acne, but I might try this the next time anyone gets something like what you have-

18. And the young ladies appreciate that look. He's been the subject of many a game of
"chase the cute boy" on the playground ever since he entered school. LOL

Calvin from "Calvin and Hobbes." (See post 3)
