Do Cats apply mind control techniques on us ?

(by the way , this is a famous Artist)

I totally see myself becoming a cat person when I get my own place.

I was able to ignore the whining and stop opening cans of Fancy Feast after putting out only two varieties this morning.

10. What a silly question!
There is no such thing as mind control.

I do as I'm told, period, because I want to.

14. One of my cats uses torture techniques on me every weekend
Starting at 5:30 until around 7:00, he gets in my face, paws my face, slobbers on my face, knocks stuff off of the dresser, wakes up the other cats and demands they do the same. If I get up to go to the bathroom and "heaven forbid" I go back to bed, this behavior is magnified 100x. I wish they would get the memo that Saturday and Sunday mornings are for sleeping in just a little bit.

15. You too?
5:30 like clockwork, one of my three, an 18-pounder, is walking on my chest, my head, pawing my face, chirping at me, walking across my husband's pillow to make as much noise as possible on the nightstand, etc. I HAVE to get up to feed him. He is relentless.

Still, I love my fuzzy master.

16. Years ago I had a cat .......
that creeped me out in the middle of the night. My husband worked nights at the time, so I was home alone. The cat would sit on a bookcase and just stare at me without moving for what seemed like forever. Couldn't dissuade her to stop. I'd wake up in the middle of the night and see her eyes boring through me.....like she wished me awake, and it worked. Was very creepy. Still, I loved that cat.

19. at 53, I have kept those pounds at bay
but it's a trade-off - I exercise, hard, an hour a day, because I find that easier than trying to watch what I eat
