Finally finished the Dexter series last night. |
|
Final scene was a bit of a shocker. We got the entire series via NetFlix, so it took us a while to get through it.
Next on the queue, the final season of Lost. Disc 1 will be on its way soon.
Those were two awesome shows (especially Dexter). Now that we're wrapping them up, what others can we get hooked on?

15. The past season (Season 4, I believe), was the best season of TV I've seen in quite a while. |
|
John Lithgow gave an absolutely amazing and creepy performance, he definitely earned his Emmy. I can't think of a season of television I enjoyed more than that, there was just so much of it that was pitch perfect. Michael C. Hall was great too, but Lithgow's performance was sublime. You'll probably want to start with season 1, but if you only plan to watch one season, make it season 4.

7. Wow, I thought the series was over |
|
That last episode seemed like the end of the series.
I'm glad I didn't stumble onto your link before I watched all of season 4.

6. Yep, love Dexter. Unfortunately, you've ruined yourself for most |
|
other tv watching now because Dexter is so good. :)
Also, I love Netflix - lets see, Weeds is alright, Family Guy is funny, Lie To Me is interesting, Rome from HBO is also good (not sure if it's on Netflix)

12. Highly recommend 'Wire In the Blood'. A very gritty, edgy... |
|
British series. Series 1 thru 6 (roughly 24 episodes) all available on Instant Play or DVD.
Also MI5 (known in UK as 'Spooks') Vol 1 - 4 on Instant Play. Vols 5-7 DVD only. Roughly 10 episodes per season.
We're currently watching 'Wallander'. Kenneth Branagh plays a Swedish Detective. Series 1 is 3 episodes (epi 3 arrived today). Series 2 arrives at Netflix in mid-October. DVD Only.
And if you haven't seen it yet, you must watch the 'Torchwood' series!

13. I have read a few of Henning Mankell's Wallander books |
|
and I have the Kenneth Branagh series 1 and 2 but haven't watched them yet. Each episode is based on one of the books and i want to read them all first. I have read about 5 Wallander books so far. I love it all!
Thanks for the info on "Wire in the Blood", I will look for it. I also watched the first three seasons of SPOOKS and need to catch up on that series as well. So much to watch, so little time.
