My mantra for today: More revisions=more money.
I'm having trouble remembering that and I'm getting REALLY annoyed every time this one client calls to change everything back to the way I had it two revisions prior, but just different enough that I can't simply send them the previous revision.

1. More cowbells, more moolah.
Unless you work for free, every change you need to do should be paid. They should know. :hi:

2. They do know, and they pay without complaint. But sometimes I just want to get a
project off my damn plate so I can move on to other things, or even (gasp) take an evening off. :)

3. Okay I just lost a project because this current one is taking so long. NOW I'm getting pissed.
They just keep making idiotic revisions. I'm about to lose my fucking mind.

6. Save All Previous Versions.
As a CAD guy I feel your pain. That is why I try to remember to save all previous revs until the final config is accepted and released. Even then I save my stuff. Rev history is strength.

7. Oh I do. I have every version of everything, even after the thing goes to print. Because you
never know when a discarded version of something can be the perfect thing for something else. It's just that every time they reverted back to a previous layout, it was just different enough that I still had to make a bunch of changes. And they're still at it. What should have been done this morning at about 10 am is still going through revisions. I'm about to scream. Oh well, I guess that's 8 hours more money for me. :)
