No, seriously--there is such a thing. Although I'm not about to sign in to find out what goes on in there.

10. Yeah, well that makes sense |
|
I suppose love, sweet love wouldn't fit in well w/their view of the world. Somehow I don't picture Ted Kasinski types as being all that warm and cuddly. :-)

For reasons I can't quite explain, I'm friends with a crazy libertarian who worships Ayn Rand and thinks guns are the cure for crime.

12. I guess I always assumed two committed Randians couldn't fit into one relationship |

The laws of nature, I assumed, required that they only breed with adoring little mouseburgers.

15. Ayn Rand herself couldn't do it |
|
The real Ayn Rand was a paranoid chainsmoking amphetamine addict few people could tolerate for any length of time. She loathed everyone but herself and died alone of lung cancer after years of claiming the health risks associated with smoking was a communist conspiracy. The reason why she wrote books was it was a way to pay the rent without having to interact with very many people, which in her case probably wasn't a bad idea. She admired serial killers and white collar crooks. She was an emotional wreck of a person who wrote pseudo intellectual novels based on her pseudo philosophy. It's no surprise only the wingnuttiest of the wingnuts love her.

18. She was also a huge Charlie's Angels fan |
|
And she wanted Farrah Fawcett to play the main female character in a new version of "Atlas Shrugged". Farrah, apparently, returned the adoration, saying that Ayn Rand helped her be more free and creative with her art.
That made me love Farrah a little less.
