3. yes its fine, I'm not pulling a Janis Joplin |
|
it mainly speeds up the relief. I've been good, I've only had 5 beers in the past month since my accident.
I'm actually digging on the tunes more than anything else

6. Not a good idea to take acetaminophen and drink. |
|
That stuff is very hard on your liver.
Percodan and beer, on the other hand, is a beautiful thing.
It made my recovery from the removal of four impacted wisdom teeth alllllllright.

2. E-GADS! Other than the flying monkeys, I find Percocet to be just fine on its own. |
|
I'm dealing with several broken vertabrae and a mystery pain in my shoulder that sometimes leaves the arm useless. Fentanyl patches were an exercise in perpetual regurgitation and hydrocodone just wasn't strong enough. Alcohol is sort of a no-no with Percocet. One of the "call 911" side effects is "not breathing" (minor problem, of course).

4. the hydro has been fine most days, but the bones hurt today |
|
they put two screws in my shoulder and chipped away part of the socket after the dislocation, but I'm much better since the surgery fixed me. I mainly hate the silly brace I have to wear

5. Yeah, I've got to wear a silly brace too. I take it off if it gets too fucked up. |
|
I'm not a candidate for surgery. In some ways that sucks.

7. I needed surgery because my posterior dislocation was pretty bad |
|
and it had to be opened up, pulled apart the put back together. It was pretty gruesome
