You're abbreviating, not acronym-ing, if I might allowed to verb a noun.

And the comma is necessary after the degree as well, otherwise it will look like your major was Some Fancy College.

8. thanks. i knew that was correct but i was hoping there was

some wiggle room. i mean degrees are pretty much acronyms by now, aren't they? doing a graphic design job and this is part of a really ugly block of text that i am trying to pretty up.

If this is for a resume, I'd put "BA 2005, Enormous State University, Collegetown" If you attended a well-known college for your BA, I might consider leaving off the location. For example, if you got your BA at Boston College, I wouldn't bother with listing it as the one in Boston. But if you went to Podunk Tech, it's probably a good idea to list not only the town but the state where Podunk Tech is located.

after i graduated from high school i went to one of the top art schools in the country, thanks.

or your first choice I think, although I just wanted to make a quick joke here and you probably should wait for the native English speaking grammar nazis to chime in. Whenever you need a German grammar nazi, holler! ;)
