Help, Need Name of Guest Actress in Big Bang Theory

An actress's name has been eluding me for months--she's often in guest-starring roles--and I've scoured the interwebs in vain attempts to find the information. Just one of those things that gets in your head and drives you crazy until you find the answer.

Anyway, I get home from working late last night to settle in and watch the DVR'd season premiere of Big Bang Theory, when whom should I spot but THE ACTRESS. Yippee! She's playing the emergency room nurse who solved Wolowitz's robotic arm problem. And I eagerly await the credits so I can finally put a name to the face that has been haunting me. And the DVR cuts off the end of show. Arrrgghhhh!

Anyone on DU remember the actress from last night? She's African-American, slight overbite, middle-aged and she's one of those "Hey! It's that guy/gal!" kind of actresses. I call upon the awesome pop culture knowledge base that is DU. Someone please help me.
