Kirstie Alley: I've lost 50 pounds
Kirstie Alley took to Twitter yesterday to address a very weighty issue: "I've lost over 50 lbs... and I'm having the time of my of my life," she wrote, adding, "30 more to go."

The 59-year-old former "Cheers" star – who also posted a photo of herself from a recent shoot in Italy - confessed last year that she was tipping the scales at 230 pounds, having gained back the 75 pounds she dropped on Jenny Craig in 2006.

"By 2008, my weight started creeping up and I said, 'Oh, I still look good at 150. I still look good at 155. I still look okay at 165. Some of my clothes still fit at 175,'" she told Ladies' Home Journal in April. "And nobody was saying 'You're fat.' I was like a bank robber who was getting away with it."

Not anymore. Alley says that with the help of her new Organic Liaison weight loss program, she has successfully gotten rid of the pounds and gained confidence and control.

6. she will gain it back unless she makes permanent changes
i think she loses to reach some goal and then goes back to her old ways after that.

but the weight is helping her look younger than most women who are her age. i don't think she gets work done on her face either since she doesn't have that botox/plastic surgery stretched out look.

7. I'm hoping that if I have a glass of wine instead of a late dinner I will loose weight.
