HOLY SHIT I have been receiving the same incoming call for six minutes now... |
|
Is that even possible? WHY DID MY PHONE NOT GO OVER TO VOICE MAIL!?!
That was really strange.

1. When I was in grad school many years ago, I lived year round in the dorm, including during breaks. |

A favorite drink of some drunk clowns was to go to a pay phone, dial the number of somebody who they knew wasn't there during the break, and walk away from the phone. I don't know how many times I was awakened by a phone ringing in an empty room: typically it would go on for hours at night before you could find somebody who could do something about it. Nobody official would ever just unlock a door and handle the phone: you had to dig up somebody at 3AM who could do something with the campus switchboard
Same incoming call for six minutes ain't nothing ...

2. That would drive me mad... |

The thing is, normally calls should go to my voice mail after a few rings. I normally don't pick up if I don't want to talk to the person and don't like hitting end call because that will automatically send it to VM early in the rings and it's a dead give away I noticed someone was calling and didn't want to answer.
So I just let it ring out. Normally it rings for four or five times and then just goes to VM. Tonight, though, it never did.
