Today's College Football Tailgate Thread
Four games between ranked teams today:

#1 Alabama at #10 Arkansas
#12 South Carolina at #17 Auburn
#24 Oregon State at #3 Boise State
#22 West Virginia at #15 LSU

There are other good games on the schedule, too, like Stanford at Notre Dame, Oregon at Arizona State, and California at Arizona.

Alas, even though there’s plenty of good football on this weekend, I probably won’t get to watch as much as I usually do. That’s because I’m hitting the road to see my Sooners play at Cincinnati :woohoo:

So who is your team playing today? What games are you looking forward to?

2. Ohio State is playing Eastern Michigan
Hopefully I'll be able to catch it on satellite radio. I'm also interested in the Boise State and Alabama games for reasons that are probably obvious. :)

7. Notre Dame Network - ha ha!

I'm just a nice Catholic girl who was raised to love Notre Dame. (plus Pitt got blasted out Thurs. pm, so I need some solace.)

10. Hell Yeah!!!

I'll be working tonight, at one of the bigger pubs in downtown Morgantown.
Looking forward to a rousing chorus of "Country Roads" as we celebrate!

8. Rolllllllllllllllllllllll TIde Rollllllllllllllll
Our offense looks better this year than it did last. Mark Ingam is faster than he was in his Heisman campaign and Greg McElroy is the most efficient passer in the NCAA this year. I expect our game with Arkansas to be a good one may even e close for a while, but we are really strong and our defense is maturing each game.

Not saying we will repeat as National Champs this year but I feel that we have as good a shot as anyone, maybe even a little better shot than most.

One teams this year that worry me are Boise ST. TCU and South Carolina. Ohio State is great but in a head to head I don't know that Terrelle Pryor would be able to handle a Saban defense. Boise uses trickeration to win big games, TCU seems to find a way to win (except in the bowl game last year against Boise) and then there's South Carolina. Spurrier has something there this year that I don't think many are giving any credit to because the always seem to start 3-0 then lose a lot.

I dont predict bama games except to say I think we will win. I will however predict the other games, at least the ones that matter:

FSU 27 - Wake 20

Stanford 31 - ND 23

5Texas 24 - UCLA 20

8Florida 21 - Kentucky 20

Mississippi State 17 - Georgia 13

12South Carolina 24 - 17Auburn 14

3Boise St 35 - 24Oregon St 31

15LSU 23 - 22WVU 21

Again Roll

14. That's the #7 team?
Getting walloped at home by a second-tier UCLA team. I don't know what the eyes of Texas are upon, but you can bet the view is bleared with tears.
