What should I do next weekend?

I can go to my cousin's house and get hammered all weekend, or I can go to Red Bluff and shoot guns.

Both of these events sound like quality entertainment.

and I think you should use dynamite as a target. (trust me you haven't lived until you have been to a dynamite shoot)

10. um, it's usually pretty short notice

we have done it here but the location is usually elsewhere - we are pretty close to the interstate - and a 16 inch gas line! :o

In the meantime check out binary explosive targets at your friendly local ammo shop! Not a bad substitute for the booms.

5. How far from Red Bluff are you starting out? And what sort of guns?

I mean, no offense to Red Bluff and Tehama County in general, but it would have to be a short distance and some pretty interesting guns before I'd make a special trip there just for that purpose.

On the other hand, drinking and cousins are pretty common but shooting parties aren't every day...

Stay at a Hostel and pay nothing to stay there and go to the park early an stay late. maybe even sell some beers and make some money if you like. You can take anything you want (or can carry) to the park, and nobody ever brings enough beers.
