Poll question: Before Fall hits, Whats on the Grill???
Edited on Sat Sep-25-10 07:12 PM by AsahinaKimi
Even if you don't have a back yard grill, if you did, what would be that great out door dinner you would make before the cold sets in?

2. We grill year-round, but based on the contents of the freezer I bet the next thing
will be salmon or chicken...

4. Grilled salmon is a weakness of mine....you'll have to send me some
Edited on Sat Sep-25-10 08:27 PM by TK421
I'll reimburse you for shipping, since I'm the only person in this house that loves salmon and the grill master ( grill OWNER ) is very cautious as to who uses his grill, or what touches his grill

10. I'll fax you some; it'll get there quicker
:)

But it turns out I was wrong in my forecast: my wife already had some bratwurst in the fridge and I found some portobello mushrooms at the store tonight, so that's the grill menu tomorrow.

Have you tried a cedar plank? The fish wouldn't touch anything, and you could cut one in half for a single serving. Your fish-phobic grill despot could hardly complain about wood touching the grill...

11. Fall? What's that?
Here are the seasons in Texas, starting in January:

mild Winter
Summer
Summer
Summer

:P

As for what's on the grill, you'll have to ask other Texans as I don't grill (or eat meat) ;)

13. Vegetarian food (pic-intensive)

BBQ Tofu

Tofurky dogs

Grilled corn. (though I never grill corn, I prefer to boil it in Old Bay and water. Think MD crab prep, except veg*n.)

Mushrooms

Grilled Onions

Vegetable Mixed Grill

14. Its lid.
When the lid is off, we do veggie dogs, veggie burgers, or vegetable kabobs.

19. Deer steak
yum. Just a bit of Worcestershire sauce, or maybe some black pepper.

That's the nice thing about deer season and football season coming together
