But I live every day with annoying fact that my patients aren't going to take their antibiotics properly, thereby opening themselves up for re-infection, or creating resistance in whatever bug they've got...

What a crock of shit. My sister has to take about 20 pills a day--usually at FIVE OR SIX times a day-and she is self employed AND she has a child but somehow she manages to have a life. I've had to do 4x a day as well from time to time. Its actually really easy. One pill at each meal, and then one in evening or bedtime.
But hey, whats actual science when your convience is at stake in the extra 20 seconds out of your life to swallow a pill..
