Carolina Chocolate Drops.
I was first turned on to this amazing band of talented and caring young people at a Blues Festival in 2008, just about when they hit the big time. They are dedicated to keeping the great American tradition of African American string band music alive. Some may call this Bluegrass Music. It doesn't matter, at least to me. They are amazing performers and if they are in your area, you should see them. They do have stuff on youtube as well.
