What do people do with cinnamon brooms? |
|
They're for sale everywhere right now. Are they decorations? Why do they need to smell like cinnamon?

2. a dreadful ripoff, I suspect |
|
I haven't looked closely at them since they appeared in my supermarket's floral section, but I will today. The scent is awful! They are sprayed with something that isn't real cinnamon.
I have a really cool twig broom hanging on my wall. Made by Gypsy women in Transylvania out of beech twigs, brought to me by a family member who travels to the villages there on humanitarian missions. It's beautiful. Not cinnamon-y though. :-)

5. My sister gets them during the holidays. They make the house smell really good. |
|
Of course, if I had one in my house, Rat Face would probably pee on it.

6. Girlfriend just bought one and hung it on her door. |
|
Makes the house smell great, but they "shed" like crazy. So then you use the broom to sweep up pieces of itself!

For what ever reason, the spindly ends of it come off and fall to the floor.
