The chilly wasp.

We bought some arugula at farmer's market Saturday (how yuppie does that sound?), not packaged, just a bunch. We had made several salads from it and last night I asked my husband to make one. I heard him yelp and thought he had cut himself but he said it felt like he had been stung. I looked and there was some insect curled up in there. We took the bowl outside and a few minutes later I went to look at it to see for sure what had stung him. It was a wasp, flapping its wings and getting ready to fly off. So that thing had been in my fridge for four days and was still alive. Luckily, no reaction from the sting.
