1. Sadly, I went with the cheese.
I guess I really am living on the edge. :silly:

5. Okay, so what KIND of cheese?
"I do like a spot of gorgonzola."

That's probably my favorite cheese - especially with fresh fruit and merlot.

6. provolone
maybe a little mozzarella, if I get lucky and score a pizza. Oh, and there's some feta in the fridge.

12. Check, check, and check - yep - have all three. Also have fresh tomatoes from the garden.
The tomatoes go with ALL THREE of those cheeses, but the mozzarella is best right now because the basil is still crisp - especially since Nicole just dropped about 6" of rain on us. Still, I'm going with the wild monkey sex and some merlot. That doesn't exclude the cheese, tomatoes and basil, mind you.

2. Unfortunately my real drug does act a little toxic: interferon
After having a severe drug interaction with an antibiotic I was off of it for about 6 weeks. Went back on last weekend. Made me really sick. Probably will do so again this weekend.:(

4. Oh, that just sounds like indigestion waiting to happen.
Add some fresh squeezed lemon to it. That always mellows out the Dr. Pepper.

8. I think I tried that "Hot Dr Pepper" recipe they used to advertise in the 1970s
and tossed out the resulting nastiness. Straight Dr Pepper with vodka is quite good :D

9. Vodka's funny. It needs something with it. Not much, just some.
Like 12 oz of vodka with a twist of lime. THAT works.

11. Okay, okay, I'll add some vanilla!
:P

I don't add lime to anything with caffeine in it. It only tastes good to my taste senses in non-caffeinated beverages, like soda water and fruit juice. But I have always liked the various vanilla-enhanced sodas :9

13. I don't know why, but that reminds me of Jamaica Jack's Ginger Beer.
It is a soda, but the best on the planet. No vanilla. Damn Percocet can fuck with your synaptic connections.

18. Wine, and in copious amounts
Monday I start a strict, STRICT diet, and alcohol is not allowed, so I'm "bingeing" this weekend. No apologies--although I max out at two glasses these days anyway. I'm going to be on the diet for about a month, and I will miss my Friday night wine most desperately. (Pray for me. :scared:)

but I got some Coronas on sale this morning. It's hot and they should go down nicely with the tacos we are having for oldest kids birthday dinner (and he's legal so he gets a few too)
