Amazing - fascism, corporatism, militarism
You better run like hell - it's all there

2. No. Not back in the States till December
Yes - I'm pissed
Rogers got a 360 degree sound system
that extends across the "ceiling"

2. Cleveland Leader Review - "Astounding"
Edited on Thu Sep-30-10 07:56 PM by denem
"In a word, astounding"

So the biggest questions are, was Waters able to pull off the show and was it worth the 3 decade wait? The answers are a resounding "yes" as the visual adaption of the 23× Platinum double album was in a word, astounding. The show was unique in that it had two true stars. One was a 67-year-old rock legend that was "in the flesh" on the shores of the Cuyahoga and Lake Erie, and the other was a 200 foot wall that symbolized many things and served as the coolest JumboTron that anyone will ever witness.

..The sound was incredible the entire night as the volume was perfect and crystal clear while also exhibiting a type of surround sound which was the best this veteran concert goer has ever heard. The visuals on the wall that covered up the stage the entire second half of the show displayed anti-war and political messages that matched Waters' left-leaning viewpoints, and helped concert-goers experience another part of the creative process that came into play in creating the double album.

4. Looks a lot like the Wall from 79...
But that tour only played a few venues and shows. (I saw it at the LA Forum).

I am thinking of hitting Vegas, LA< LA, Oakland, Oakland, San Jose....

He really over saturated the bay area and LA area so I imagine there will be cheap tickets on the lot..

7. Yeah the screens are sickness.
Seems everything is way improved on the tech level but not so much the staging...

9. Somewhere in North America!
Wish I could say, but since I've moved, I don't like to offer anything that might lead some rightwing asshole to my door.

12. I wish I could come out to LA and see it there with you! That would be awesome,
not only to share it with you, but to see The Wall in one of the four or five places in the world that actually hosted it the first time.
