Mobile Cuisine

If any of you are interested in the food truck craze, I just started up an ezine covering this subject and all things related to the mobile food industry. You can find it at http://mobilecuisine.wordpress.com/.

Would love to hear suggestions from fellow foodies about possible topics to discuss. I am researching for an article on sustainable food service right now, so I should have something up on the issue next week.

2. This isn't your Dad's Roach Coach

We are talking about trucks that make their own food on site and are run by some of the nations bests chefs. The days of the white panel truck pulling up with pre-made sandwiches, chips and a cookie are long gone. Most major cities in the country are having well known area chefs move from brick and mortar restaurants to packing up and going mobile.

If you watched Food Networks, The Great Food Truck Race, you'd know the types of fare I am speaking of.
