2. Both my cats sleep on the outside of my leg

I sleep on my side; therefore, the cats take turns lying on the outside of my thigh. I can tell which one is on me: Max weighs a TON!!!

4. When Amelia (the bossy monkey) first came into my life,

she clung on for dear life all night. If I rolled over, she'd climb up to the new high point and hang on there. I'm grateful that she's calmed down a little over the years.

The other girls are coming round to her. They pretty much have to because she certainly doesn't shy away from them. She has no fear in her at all and chases them around. LOL

is that your couch? I like the combo of the prints - floral and stripes. Or is one of those prints a throw?

Lilya looks a bit like my Hedy (aka SilverGirl) - she's mostly a silver tabby, part Maine Coon, but she has some caramel coloring throughout her fur. Her fur is light/ white-silver at the skin-level, then dark silver at the tips. :)

Mean. As. Hell.

I'm not kidding.

I can't name her because her name is the answer to my password security question. From now on, I shall refer to her with the acronym for The Meanest Cat In The World, TMCITW.

TMCITW attacks for no reason and by attack I mean, fight-to-the-death-bunny-kicking-bloodletting-scar-making attack. For example, my daughter would be sitting on her bed reading and TMCITW would run across the room and clamp on her leg - the bad leg that had surgery. If I laugh too loud at a comedy or cry too much watching a drama, TMCITW will jump on my arm and dig her teeth into my flesh. She has pierced veins in my hand and my temple. There simply is no logic to why she is like this. The other cats, her children, staged a coup on her and banished her to the back bedroom because she was so damned mean to them.

And yet, when I wake up in the morning, I will open my eyes and there she will be, sleeping right beside me. I'll pet her head and scratch her ears just until her tail starts twitching because I know if I continue, I am doomed.

18. They welcome me at the door, they bug me while i'm on the computer and they sleep on

me. All that and there dry food is always out in the bowl so I know their adoration of me is for real.
