2. Loved that movie!
Army base in Heilbronn was shut down once for about a day because of an addition to the coffee. :D

6. That's what I saw, too. It wasn't bad, but it didn't do much.
With the big mysterious buildup and top security issues and extreme super powers, you'd have expected in all that to matter at the end. It was cute, but the ending looked like a MASH episode, whereas the buildup made you expect something much better and more insightful.

4. Hey thanks for posting this alphafemale!
I kept stopping myself from putting it into my Netflix queue because of the bad reviews, but will now add it. I'm more apt to enjoy stuff DUers like then 'professional' critics. :hi:

10. Be sure to watch the "extra features"
I'm still not sure whether the first one was an actual documentary or an elaborate hoax.

:hi:

5. Maybe because it was
a Hollywood film that was more art film than Hollywood. Hard to market.

9. Nailed it!
In its subtlety, I would compare it to the Cohen brother's "A Serious Man"

Another great film you hardly hear about.

8. ..Boston
Ever since I saw that movie every time I heard that song on the radio I laugh and actually listen to it

I also tried to convince my 5 year old that I could "burst clouds" she knows it is nonsense but we still do it when we are laying out in the yard looking at clouds.

11. It was not mainstream "humor" - like TV programs with laugh tracks -
and it was pretty smart. Kiss of death on both counts, but it will certainly become a beloved "cult" movie.

19. I Enjoyed It
a lot but thought it was definitely in the "not for everyone" category. You had to be at least somewhat versed in current events to get a lot of the satire. Enough said.
