Justin Timberlake....
You know his music is okay, kind of boring to me, but I get why other people like it.

And since I am 52, the tunes he puts out are clearly not targeted at me.

But this guy is one of the most balanced, funny, personable pop star to come along in my life time.

He just knows that he is talented but also that he is very lucky.

You know he works hard at his craft, takes it seriously.

He doesn't have that sense of entitlement that almost every pop star eventually falls into.

He kind of reminds me of Paul McCartney before he became sir Paul.

1. I don't care for his music but he's a surprisingly decent actor.

2. He's a throwback to before the days of rock-n-roll, back to say Dean Martin...
in his demeanor

3. That tends to happen.

If you'd told me 15 years ago that Marky Mark and Donnie from NKOTB (They're brothers if you didn't know) were both going to become fairly skilled character actors someday I would not have believed you.

Edit: My point being that mediocre pop musicians who understand stage presence tend to be or become good actors.

5. He has earned my respect beyond measure
Justin is one of the hardest working people in show business. He comes across as humble, diligent, persistent, personable. Very few entertainers win me over, but he has done so. I look forward to a well deserved, long, productive entertainment career from Mr. Timberlake.

8. I used to not like him.
Now I think he's really cool. Seems like a good guy. Very talented in a lot of different areas.

10. Interesting post. A friend of mine and I just saw "The Social
Network" and we were amazed at how good Justin was (We loved the movie too). We were saying as we left the theatre, "is there nothing this guys can't do"?
