I've been off of work for 2 weeks without pay

It was voluntary. I know I've driven my co-workers crazy taking all of the day-off allotments I could. What it meant for those "less senior" is that they were not approved for ANY of those days off. eeek.

Hope they don't hate me when I go back this week.

9. It is probably fair to say that most of us have been there.

And fuck the pride part. I walked the last way home from a bar (in college) wearing nothing but cowboy boots and a cowboy hat - IN FUCKING FEBRUARY when it was about 80 below (well, it seemed like it at least). The "unit" was not in the most impressive state, needless to say (but I said it anyway).
