Well, more than a little...
Last month I was scheduled to have my gallbladder removed on the 27th of this month. The plan is to do a lap. One day thing and I'm okay with that. The doctor had mentioned that he would run a dye through me to check my bile ducts.
The last few weeks I noted some changes when I went to the bathroom, but today it was more drastic. I called the GI clinic and they called back a little bit ago. They want me in tomorrow for blood work and an appointment with the doctor. They want to check my liver. I honestly didn't expect to have to go in so quickly.
It's a little freaky and I'm scared. I'm probably overreacting.

Well, of course you're scared...
You'd gotten used to having this surgery at a certain time, and now, boom, something new has cropped up. THAT is scary.
But you're doing just exactly what you should do, and your doctor and the clinic are responding as they should.
Major, major vibes to you...
I am definitely holding many good thoughts for you...
Let us know, will you, as you're able?

I've had my gall bladder removed. It was a lap surgery too. I felt gut shot for about a week after the surgery, but I'm so happy that pain from the gallstones is gone. If I had it to do over, I would take the week of feeling gut shot over the gallstones any day.
My gallbladder literally ballooned up and started pressing on my other organs. They said I had what looked like possibly hundreds of small stones. One was stuck in the duct and nothing could escape. It was acting like a one way valve. My gallbladder just kept ballooning and ballooning until they had to go in and take it out.
I'll never forget that surgery. Having a breast lump on my nipple removed and waking up during the surgery was actually easier than the feeling of being gut shot, but in the end, it was definitely worth it. Get treated by your doctor for that as soon as possible. I'm serious.

If the doctors don't know, you don't know, and there is no point in stressing out over it....wait until you get the results from the blood work and it could be nothing at all
