Barnes & Noble -- clueless, or trying to be subliminal?
First, they had their answer to the Kindle... the Nook E-Reader (Nookie reader?)

Now they have an electronic publishing service named... PubIt!

Presumably they pronounce "Pub" as in "publish" to rhyme with club. However, shouldn't "pubit" rhyme with "cubit" ? Pube It? It also seems to recall the word "pubic" as well.

This seems more clueless than Apple's iPad even. Or perhaps someone thinks these names sound sexy?

2. Well, as the patient said to the guy conducting the Rorshach test
"YOU'RE the one with all the dirty pictures!"

3. Actually, I agree with Ducky.
Because it's spelled PubIt, with a capital I, I think I would pronounce it the way it was intended.

as does Publish-iT.

And PublishIt would have taken us right back where we started.

9. Get your mind out of the gutter.
And who uses the term "nookie" for sex anymore?
