Question #1 Why do the zombies not try to cannibalize each other
On to the RE:A: In the first movie, didn't they note it only works on the recently dead? So how can the graveyard come alive?
there may be more questions later.

|
so much to see and hear..and some 'indy type movies' that are on instant watch...

2. Who wants to eat rotten/gross meat? |
|
One of my and Dropkid's favorite movies. Actually, we love all zombie-type movies.

3. A slow moving zombie that |
|
happens to be hungry, and is not in the first circle of zombies that are getting their pound of flesh from a recently downed prey. I mean, I get that I *might* choose fresh meat over older meat, though given the relative intelligence seen from the zombies, I have my doubts that they are so complex. Their only supposed will is to "Eat", so why not eat when it is available, fresh or no.
Also, given that the zombies like to drag people down and rip them apart, how does the zombie horde grow? It seems to me that the majority of people would not have the ____(fill in the blank) hours needed to transform, free from being ripped to meat shreds by other hungry zombies. So at best you would end up with more reanimated torso's trailing entrails than whole zombies.

4. Maybe they're only triggered to feed by enzymes emitted |

only by non-infected humans? Monarch caterpillars only eat milkweed!

5. Netflix is truly revolutionizing everything. |
|
There is so much content available on demand. It is really amazing and nothing out there compares for the price.
That said, I need to put Resident Evil in my Instant Queue

you have to get the discs for all three RE movies. And you will just have to suffer through Torchwood and The Octagon in your instant queue while you wait for them, just like the rest of us.

8. Have you watched Weeds and/or Dexter yet? |
|
They instant stream and are actually enjoyable. I couldn't suffer through Torchwood, just couldn't. Have been trying to find another series though. Right now, we are getting the discs for Carnivale, interesting so far.
You make some good points regarding zombie behavior, how they increase in numbers is the real crux, as you say, they wouldn't. Maybe, initially the infection is semi-dormant, and in the pre-zombie state, they just bite, like rabies. That still wouldn't explain the numbers.

Dexter is not really my sort of show. Or such is my completely uninformed opinion. Weeds... well there are just so many sci-fi shows I have missed with having no cable most of my life. Its in the cue, after a few hundred other things. I am thinking the new battlestar Galactica next, perhaps. I want to watch Babylon 5, see it from start to end, but there is significant resistance to this in my household.

12. I remember that post. |
|
I didn't remember that it was you who wrote it however. I thought about responding to it then, so maybe I will follow through now. I'm a bit foggy, as I watched it long ago. You are astute to catch that, and logically, the crew would at least strip a ship like that. I often complain about writing that doesn't seem consistent myself. Possibly, They wanted to leave the ship untouched so the whereabouts of the bounty hunter would remain unknown. Though I can't remember if The Alliance knew about him and his plan. Other than that, I got nuthin.
