what is this called?

I am writing out belated thank you notes for our wedding gifts. We received a gift that is kinda cool but I don't know what it's called.

It its a mirror with fancy etching, roughly oval and about the size of a sheet of copy paper. It hangs on the wall.

Out from the bottom of the mirror sticks this thing and you put a candle in it. The giver included two red candles.

The gift was a pair of these things. They are not our style but a lovely gift, and I don't want to write " thank you for the lovely candle things."

Do you know what they are called?
