About thirty years ago my buddies and I were wondering through the streets of Barcelona.

I was marveling at the popularity of the Beatles. Pictures of the Beatles were in many of the bar and cafe windows, and at night many were lit with candles.

We had the first night of "Liberty", on our way to the Persian Gulf and our little part of the Iranian Hostage crisis. It wasn't till the next night, on the tenth of October that Armed Forces News reported that John Lennon had been murdered 2 days ago.. imagine..
