The miners in Chile

I'd like to ask that all DU'ers join me in sending good thoughts, wishes, prayers, vibes - whatever evidences your belief system in whatever way - toward a successful outcome for the miners trapped in Chile.

There have been a lot of heroes during this ordeal. Certainly the trapped men have been amazingly strong, but the workers trying to save them are all heroes, too.

As the rest of this story unfolds in the next few days, and the actual rescue is undertaken, let's all hope (and pray if that is your practice) that the efforts and devices work successfully with no snags or setbacks.

They've got to be very strong individuals, both physically and mentally, and especially strong to have endured the confines for so very long.

I have a lot of faith in the rescuers but am still keeping my fingers crossed!

There are a lot of pitfalls yet to come. I am hopeful that the rescuers have anticipated all that can go wrong, and prepared for it. I know that they have all done the very BEST that they are capable of doing!
