Disgraced former Miss California Carrie Prejean to be a part of the next Survivor?
Well, at least CBS will save money since she won't need any floatation devices!

The 22nd season of Survivor may have at least one cast member who's even more well-known than returning cast members Russell Hantz and Rob Mariano: Carrie Prejean. She's the Miss USA 2009 contestant best known for answering pageant judge Perez Hilton's question about same-sex marriage by saying marriage shouldn't include same-sex couples, and for later having her contract terminated by Donald Trump's organization, reportedly because of a sex tape. She subsequently wrote a book called »

1. NO!!!!
I'm not upset about that woman (whom I really dislike). I'm upset that its going to be another season of Russell and Rob. What will they keep bringing back those guys until one of them wins? They are out of ideas. I think that show jumped the shark.

2. I'm with you
I've had enough of Russell, though I have to say that Rob grew on me a little bit the last time through. Maybe because he wasn't involved in a showmance. Russell, on the other hand, is a one-trick pony - make that a half-trick pony - whose only strategy is finding hidden immunity idols. And now that any contestants with him are wise to his game play, I see him going out muy pronto. Maybe it's the "guy you love to hate" angle, but I'd much rather see other people compete.

This year's crop seems a bit meh. NaOnka and Marty seem to be the only standouts so far, but it's still early.

3. I pretty much quit watching after the first all-stars although I did watch some of the last one
in a nutshell I'm bored of it. Because some of my favorite earlier survivors were on the 2nd All-Stars, I wanted to watch it again. (I loved how Sandra managed to win Survivor twice!)

5. I enjoyed that second all-stars show as well
I love Saundra. It is a great idea for a show, but it has probably run its course. I suspect another russell season will be the nail in the proverbial coffin.

8. I doubt that I would watch another show with Russell on it. He is such an
unpleasant person. I was surprised at Rob the last time he played. He had matured quite a lot since his first appearance on the show.

6. doesn't bother me
FWIW, they've done Celebrity Survivor in some other countries, and it went over well. The South African version produced one of the best players ever, I've been told by someone I trust on these matters.

As for Russell's return, he'll either be voted out quickly, or he'll be the Ultimate Goat once again. Doesn't bother me either way, because I know he won't win.

We'll likely see the return of Richard Hatch this season, too.

11. Hatch is out
Unless something has changed since last year, Richard Hatch could not leave the country due to his probation. I don;t think its done. Maybe CBS could get him a waiver, but I think the feds were looking to make an example out of him.

7. If she ends up getting eaten by sharks...
I'm going to have to convert to Orthodox Judaeism. If she's just maimed, I'll go Reform.
