OMG they did it! RANGERS!!!
FWIW, I have always admired and respected the Rays (have chartered them many times).

It was a great, competitive series.

Congrats to the Texas Rangers!

7. My dad took me to my first Rangers game in August of 1972...
in the dinky (but, not charmless) Arlington Stadium.

I don't believe in the afterlife, but if it exists, he's smiling and cracking a cold one right about now.

Bring on those damn Yankees!

So, so far this year is working out.

Did I mention I'm supporting Bill White? :)

10. Please Jebus
if they make the Series do not make us look at "that person" whether it be in the stands, throwing out (up) the first pitch, listening to the announcers wipe his arse with their tongues etc.

17. The Twinkies were the Senators, release 1.0
the original Senators in the early '60s. The Senators, release 2.0, (I used to listen to them on the radio sometimes from Bawlmer) became the Gee Dubyas some time in the '70s.

14. Congratulations from a Yankees fan
I'm glad future Yankee Cliff Lee won't be pitching until game 3.

I'm surprised the Yankees beat the Twins in Round 1, so anything now is gravy. Should be a good series.

15. The Yankees are always a tough group to beat
Be interesting to see if they can acquire Lee. I guess with enough $$$, one can do pretty much anything.
