I don't mind the paying taxes. It is the FUCKING FORMS I hate!!!

1. After spending about 10 hours one year tracking down all the different

sub-forms and tables to fill out my 1040, I gave up and bought a computer program.


Nothing is more aggravating than spending an hour downloading a form (this was in the dial-up days), downloading the instructions, tracking down the information to complete the form, filling out the form, getting to the last line and then finding out that my gross income is too high to qualify me for the tax break involved!

2. I'm dealing with an error on the part of the IRS and it has been going on for three years now.

3. Well, sometimes you just have to ask yourself, "is my time worth this minor deduction?"

A lot of people don't factor in the value of their time when trying to save a dime. I liken it to driving to the other side of town to save 3 cents a gallon on gas.

4. You are probably right that it isn't worth it. But...

there is always the principle of the thing! I hate to give up just "because" when I am in the right.

They're fucking.

Obviously, too, because they are fucking tax forms that they are so complex and endless in number.

Just be happy they don't use fucking imaginary numbers too :7
