Poll question: Look, I'm a guy who's within Six Degrees of Himself...
That's why it's so hard to be me at The Six Degrees of MrScorpio.

Check this out:

1. Me

2. My Wife

3. My wife knew John Belushi way back in Wheaton, IL

4. Belushi starred with Carrie Fisher in "The Blues Brothers"

5. Fisher starred with Billy Dee Williams in two "Star Wars" movies

6. And Behold!

So you gotta ask yourself, do you really want to play me at SIX DEGREES OF MRSCORPIO, or not?

5. "six degrees of himself" sounds like some REALLY kinky self-gratification.
Have you registered a domain for that stuff? Porn makes good money!

6. I can do one degree of Kevin Bacon.
My husband and I were at the Experience Music Project a number of years ago, just after it opened. There was a line to get into one of the exhibits, and an employee was doing a Jeopardy type music quiz. I was standing beside a guy and his kids, and both of us started feeding the kids the answers so they could win the guitar pick prizes. We sort of chuckled together over it but I never actually looked at him. A few minutes later he and they were herded to the head of the line by an employee who turned to me and said "Aren't you with Kevin Bacon?" A few minutes later my husband came up and said "Hey, how cool! Kevin Bacon!" I swear I never realized it was him. I did catch sight of them later and damned if it wasn't Kevin Bacon. My husband's still jealous that he didn't see Kiera Knightly.

7. Got a song for that :)
Edited on Thu Oct-14-10 03:20 PM by RandomThoughts
Bananarama - Love In The First Degree
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nl46l8XHvg <- that song is actually about self love. And self love is not about sex, for those with issues of licentious spirits.

:D LOL

So how you going to judge someone that does not respect judgments of other people :) If they can not even defend their arguments.

Not playing that game either :)

:)

That is a great song, so deep.

Kelly Family - Key to my heart
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t803-CGcWz4

(side note) I don't have a racial filter, but two posts in recent threads tipped me off of that concept. The banana is not racial, it is a comment on less evolved, and used by people that think in terms of superiority, it is in millions of places, and is a comment, not about race but a snide remark by people that think they are superior, towards those that don't see the symbology. There is a delusion about some people being more evolved by measure of intelligence, that is where the banana is part of, although it does cross over to race issues, since many people that think they are superior are also racists.

12. Quoting you...
"...since many people that think they are superior are also racists."

This should not be surprising. Whence comes racism, or any other -ism, anyway?

13. Thoughts of superiority is much of many problems.
Edited on Fri Oct-15-10 07:51 AM by RandomThoughts
Also if the bottom is always brought up, and the top brought down, things are in better moderation, and there are less concepts of 'want' by imbalance, which leads to less of things like wars and strife between groups.

Superiority gives an excuse for the top to try to go higher by stepping on the bottom, the opposite of what most think and feel are better societies.

An example, when people see things, some try to find a way to put people down or hurt them, some are saying a freak show comment over and over.

Why, to try and push an idea of their superiority by stepping on other people.

It really is not that complicated.

That is one of Dante's hells, people that think they have to climb on people and push people down to get to the top.
