when i was 14 i used to drink beer with homeless people
behind the grocery store.

the convenience store would sell me beer at that age too.

1. When I was that age I knew which worker at the VP would sell me smokes and who wouldn't.
Never that into booze but some of my friends used homeless people all the time for that.

8. one guy, Mike, was a vietnam vet
i said something disrespectful about lynyrd skynyrd, and he punched me right in the chest.

he said, "boy, don't say that about skynyrd" and looked all crazy.

i tried to not cry and it really hurt, and i was scared, but i just said "sorry" and learned a valuable.

5. When I was 10 I wrote myself notes for cigs
and said they were from my aunt and the convenience store sold packs of ciggies to me. Benson and Hedges. Sometimes menthol.

Having a mustache at 12 years old probably helped you get away with shit.

weird.

then i switched to lucky strikes for a spell, then marlboro red soft pack, then lights, then camel lights (now called camel blue).
