There is a rumor going around at work about something that sounds a lot |
|
like a pyramid scheme. Somehow you pay 99 bucks and a website where people will go to buy products. The products I heard mentioned the most were Verizon and Dish Network. Every time someone purchases you get a kickback and you also get a kickback for anyone else that you sign up under you. That is the part that sounds like a pyramid to me. According to the talk at work the cost to get in on this plan last year was $199.oo, right now they are running a special for $99.oo and next year it will be down to $49.oo. Sounds fishy to me. Why would Verizon and Dish Network need individuals to host websites for them?
This is all I can get of the ones who have bought in. They keep saying I have to see the video presentation.
Anyone else heard of anything like this ....

Scamity, scam, scam.
Run far away.
A few of your co-workers (the early buyers) may do 'ok' but the 'profits' will be coming from your later-buying coworkers.

2. I understand the pyramid part. I don't understand how Verizon and |
|
Dish Network figure into it.
