High Times magazine was featured this morning on CNN.

It got me to thinking; why doesn't it come with a bag of chips or beef jerkey?

3. I used to buy that magazine

and yet, I don't smoke or consume it in any way, then or now. I read it for the legal issues, the criminal investigation stories, the fight against The Man (and the DEA), and of all things, for the gardening information.

I remember one issue with a cover story on a new form of cold-light (I think it was radiowave-excited gaseous sulfur, but I'm not sure about that.) However, I never saw any more about that invention, so I have no idea if it was viable for hydroponics or other kinds of lighting. I know one suggestion was its use in "light pipes" for roadway illumination, but only Germany was experimenting with that application.

These days, you can build your own hydroponic systems from scratch, such as with Windowfarms :)
