Is there a way to download YouTube videos?

There sure is...

You find the one you want, and then you copy and paste the address of the video into the address bar. I just did that with Sting's version of "Moon Over Bourbon Street."

6. what format should I be using?

I tried downloading one with the .flv format and it saved to my computer just fine but I don't seem to have a player that will play it... neither Windows Media Player nor Nero will. Should I download them in the .mp4 format?

I be confused. I don't know diddly about video files.

5. Google Chrome will give the option automatically for me

Using Windows 7 - I don't know if that is a Win7 feature or a Google feature, but when I look at a video on youtube it will give me a popup for d/l.
