It was published back in the days of the b&w comic surge (80s and 90s) in the early days of Darkhorse and Eclipse and all the other smalltime comic publishers. It would probably take me a week to dig mine out, too ;)
You might ask someone at a comic book store about it. One "historical" fact in it was that most of Russia and Eastern Europe was turned into nothing (i.e., a blank/white hole in space/reality) by a teleportation experiment that went "wrong". So, that's something that might cause a comic book fan to remember and give you the title or find copies for you :)
