1. Mine likes butter if it is left on the table, |
|
gravy, pumpkin, and tomato based pasta sauce. NOTHING can be left out, or she feasts. Sometimes those feasts can lead to yakking up. If she does that, it is most certainly where I will step in it, or in an inconvenient corner, where I do not find it right away. Such a lovable creature.

6. I faked out my cat with "whatever I'm eating" last night. |
|
I cooked up a veggie burger, sat down to eat it, and Milo -- who (like me) could stand to lose a few pounds but always has to see what I'm eating and demand his share -- ran up to me, stood up and reached his paw toward my plate, whining "You have a hamburger! Oh boy, oh boy, I want some, can I pleeeeease have some, pleaase??" or meows to that effect. So I broke off a little bit and offered it to him, and he eagerly started to lick it -- then looked at me, looked at the piece in my hand, and sort of went "..Oh..." and walked away.
He likes hamburgers a lot, veggie burgers not so much. He sure noticed the difference.

One of my old cats..I tried to do something like that with her..a salad..but since the lettuce had blue cheese dressing on it, she decided that lettuce was YUMMY! and never ever left me alone with my veggies ever again...

8. The only things my cats won't eat are bananas. |
|
But they HAVE to give it a sniff.
Then they back away. :-)
