My cats predict the outcome of the midterm elections
Here they are: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opBRpSx3WW4
Aren't they the cutest little things?
They used marked litter boxes to figure out which party would do better, taking into account the historical loss of seats by the party in power during midterms. Unfortunately, the kitties showed a slight bias toward the (R)'s. No catnip for you tonight, kitties!
Although this is meant only for fun and not to be taken seriously, pro-Democratic comments are requested on the comments page!

2. Couldn't the cats' choice of where to poop or pee reflect their disdain for
a particular party rather than a vote for it??? I mean, c'mon, cats are smart. They know what they're doing.

Cute video anyway!

3. You nailed it, Stardust
The only thing that proves is that cats, as the smart animals they are, know better than we do that repunks are full of shit. The cats are just demonstrating it in a video :spray: :spray: :spray: :spray: :spray: :spray: :spray: :spray: :spray:

4. heh, I thought of that in '08
I only had two cats then, (Zoe was a four-day-old kitten on Election Day '08) and I marked the litter boxes the day before, figuring that if they pooped in the Obama box more, they were picking him, and if they pooped in the Mc Cain box more, they were pooping on him. I didn't think to tape it though, and I didn't measure anything, just went by which box looked fuller. They did pick Obama. Two years from now, I'll remember to tape them!

5. The little kitties were pretty close on the senate...
...but underestimated the losses in the house. Oh well, they're still cute :)
