Greetings from LA. Peggy and Tobin meetup pics.

I found myself in the Los Angeles area with a couple of days to spare so I decided to give my friend California Peggy a call and see if she'd like to meet up for a little bit. I'm sitting here in her dining room as I write this. We went out to the beach and also to an overlook to get some pictures. Here are a few of mine.

A picture of the LA skyline from a distance. I don't have a great camera for taking shots like this. It makes the objects in the picture look farther away than they actually are, but here you go anyway.

They are great to work in. :)

The story behind those is that I once had a job that required working on trucks. Being kind of a big guy, I had a hard time keeping my pants up and would often be bending over with my ass hanging half way out of my pants. Then I saw a guy wearing some bibs one day and thought, "That's the ticket." :)

Thanks for the pictures. My sister and her family used to LIVE in Palos Verde
Peninsula back in the hills overlooking the ocean (Catalina Island was straight
out from their place). When I visited and we were approaching their place, I
asked if they were on the beach.

"No," said MiddleFingerMomSis, "we're about two million BACK from the beach."

Although I've watched many a sunrise over the Atlantic... I had always wanted
to see the sun set over the Pacific. This was my first (and only, so far) chance
to be actually on (or overlooking) the Pacific and it clouded up half-an-hour
bafore I got there and didn't CLEAR up until half-an-hour after I left... three
days later.

I love what your sister said: "About 2 million back from the beach"! That really struck a chord here!

Yeah, I know it looks like my purse strap ..but it's really my camera strap. But you couldn't have known that I don't carry my purse when I go down there...It's too heavy!
