4. Of the ones you posted? Jealousy
Edited on Sat Oct-23-10 06:28 PM by WildEyedLiberal
Sometimes hatred is necessary - some things are so heinous that they SHOULD inspire hatred. Ditto with anger. Sadness is inevitable, particular if one is empathetic. Fear can be useful, particularly as a survival mechanism. But NOTHING good can come of jealousy.

5. I put fear above everything else.
Just because it causes so much havoc in personal lives and across the board through society. And around the world.

But so does hate and that I give a very close second place.

I think the two are closely related.

Though fear, in my book is a real society killer.

And a real personal life killer too.

Good poll.

8. The mechanical man pics reminded me of the worst emotion.
It's whatever that feeling was, having just watched "Bicentennial Man", which was a decent book.

13. Despair.
Hatred, jealousy, and anger can all be channeled in positive directions sometimes. Fear can save your life. Sadness is just meh. Despair is death.

17. I think that "fear" in this instance

isn't the kind that warns you of danger, that kind of fear is essential for human survival. It's more the kind of fear that keeps an individual from doing that one frightening and possibly life changing thing that may improve ones well being.
