1. It's a good flick. Had me howling with laughter through about 85% of it.
Now, the other 15% was pretty disgusting and I had to close my eyes through some of it. But the majority of the flick is definitely worth seeing. One of the best 3D titles to come out so far and definitely the best use of slow-mo in years.

3. The movies are definitely a mixed bag.
And there's definitely a lot of nihilism/anarchy, so if that's not your bag, the movies won't be your thing. I enjoyed watching the movies to see the incredible camaraderie of the cast. I'd find it hard to remain friends with people if they had done such awful things to me, but these guys keep coming back for more and they're still good friends. I definitely could have done without the more scatological scenes in the movie, but the rest of the movie had me laughing so hard my sides literally ached walking out of the theater.
