This is the spider that bit me:

NOT, a brown recluse like my husband thought--just a grass spider. But it was pretty big and I screamed pretty loudly. And now I'm itchy all over.

2. I felt something in my hair.
I just kind of absently brushed it away and it bit me on the wrist. It was about 1 1/4 inches in diameter, but I don't live in Arizona anymore so that seems big.

I'm generally not afraid of spiders so it was pretty funny that I screamed. My husband became convinced it was a brown recluse, so we looked for pictures online. It surely was not.

:)

7. my husband thinks *every* spider is a brown recluse
It's pretty funny, actually. Unless, of course, it's a black widow.

I don't mind spiders, either, and I'll let the little fellas live in the house (exceptionally large ones - approaching the size of a silver dollar go outside). I won't kill them (unless they're black widows; I don't think I could identify a recluse).

But if one gets on me? I do tend to freak out. All bugs (except roaches and ticks and fleas) are fine, so long as they're not on me or in my house. I do a ridiculous dance and shriek, though, if they're on me.

14. Wolf spiders are cool
once one gets past the fact that they're humongous and creepy looking that is. They eat tons of other insects.

4. You are truly a gentle person. Spiders that bite me
tend to get all flat and squishy.

16. Comics
There's been several.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider-Woman

One of them even had her own short-lived animated show.
