Let's play "State Smashup"...
This was a category on Jeopardy earlier this week, and I've been playing it in my head ever since. The possibilities are endless.

For example:

New Yoregon would be New York smashed with Oregon.

Inevada would be Indiana smashed with Nevada.

Kentuckansas would be Kentucky and Kansas.
