Today is my birthday...
and I'm 55. I'm officially retired from the state of California after working for 36 plus years. I'm one of the lucky ones. I also feel incredibly grateful that I made it. It's been a very tough year for my family and friends. Too many deaths of love ones and illness. Toasting to all, and hope for next week the democratic party retains both houses. Jerry and Barbara will win, there is no doubt in my mind.

4. Not bad
I'm a early riser and the day seems to go by fast, but the month goes by slow if that means anything. Way less stress.

17. I'm sort of loving these years.
Early riser here, too. Time has stepped up but it's not as stressful in personal ways as other decades. It's nice. :)

I'm with you on next week's election: Jerry and Barbara WILL win, and the state will be back on the road to sanity.

Enjoy your retirement! I got an early retirement at age 61 and have been loving it!
