Seriously, is there a better album than "Aladdin Sane" by David Bowie |
|
I've been swinging to that all day today. Probably one of my favorite Bowie albums and it's just so fricking groovy. I love the jazz piano on the title song "Aladdin Sane" too but my favorite has to be "Panic in Detroit"
Anyone else Aladdin Sane fans?

2. You mean, besides the soundtracks to Adam Sandler movies? I assume that's what you mean. |
|
Since everyone knows that Adam Sandler movie soundtracks are the de facto *given* best albums ever.
Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with Aladdin Sane - and I thought I knew a fair amount of Bowie's material. I'll check it out! I love bowie.

3. I'm often not a fan of studio albums of some performers... |
|
. . . . . but "David Live" is probably in my Top 10 of all time -- though from what I've read, HE didn't like his performance and the band was pissed off and damn near mutinous when that was recorded (I'm pretty sure they weren't going to see a dime from the album -- but I think that was IMMEDIATELY renegotiated right before the show). . . . . .
