(sigh) Bad time to be distracted.
This is the time of year when I really have to be focused on my sales. It may sound like a cliche, but I pretty much make up for the rest of the year during the last few weeks before Christmas.

And what happens? I get an e-mail from a no-good ex-boyfriend who says he will be in town and we should "get together and talk." I kicked this guy to the curb 6 months ago when I got incontrovertible proof that he was a liar and a phony. He says it "wasn't what it looked like." Bottom line, I don't need those problems again; lust may be blind, but it's not entirely and completely stupid.

Still, it's a distraction that has totally messed up my focus. Bah.

1. Just don't.
E'mail that there are unavoidable business commitments which keep you from making ANY plans; state it so he wouldn't follow up.

And GOOD LUCK!

3. Oh, not to worry...
...I have no intention of actually meeting up with him. It just scattered my focus, is all, because it brought up unpleasant memories and really wasn't welcome right now. My reply, if I even send one, will be more along the lines of "Go to hell." You're far more diplomatic than I am. ;)

6. Thanks, Touch.
Maybe more diplomatic than I should be, like some Dems! Would like to tell 'stranged husb to go to hell, but he owes me big time so to obtain it I've been more civil.

I sure understand scattered forces; that describes most of day today. I can afford it, at least; retired!

7. Don't let him anywhere near you. And many businesses make 1/2 their income at christmas time.
Places like gift shops and such.
