I am stepping down on Morphine. This sucks

It's either kick the pain meds, or kick the cannabis.

Since cannabis has done more for me than ANY opiate has, and the fact that I can grow my own Opium if I have to - I am quitting the Morphine

OMG, I want to die right now. I want to curl into a dark corner, take out a gun and shoot myself in the head. I won't. Trust me on that one.

I'm just trying to explain how much pain I'm in.

I used to be on 90mg of Morphine a day. Today I am only on 60mg.

This fucking sucks.

In two weeks I'll be on 30mg hopefully.

Did I mention this sucks?

4. Agree w/ MFM

I had to kick morphine after about 6 mos of dosage. I wasn't real coherent and they gave it to me w/ a needle so I don't remember dosage. But I had to step down and they used nembutol shots to keep me unconscious for about two weeks. But I got the full on withdrawals; chills, redhot fire( as in I'm on fire)nausea, etc. So I imagine that you need some kind of supplement to keep that sharp edge off.

I certainly have compassion!

We live day by day hoping her medicine is available. The smallest threat to her being treated is a great concern. But it could be worse?
